Southern Time Band in Canada is nothing without it's famous singers.

 The Story Behind it all 

Southern Time Band and Productions are the product of Tim Bartsch aka T's vision for classical and rock opera music. 

T has been HIV positive from the 1990s when he was in his 20s and naïve. He was devastated and heartbroken. He considered himself as an involuntary celibate and was very afraid to approach women. 

The only thing that kept him going through these trying times was his music. His relentless drive to tell his story to the world and creating powerful and empowering music became his sole passion which resulted in Southern Time Band.

Southern Time Band's Breathtaking Singers 

Southern Time Band has a unique voice grace of its famous singers from Canada, their homeland. 

Undeniably, making a mark in the music industry can be a difficult task for a classical band with a rock-opera edge but STB has a long way to go and very important stories to tell through their music. 

Our Pledge towards Eradicating HIV 

T, the lead singer of our band, and Justin Antawan, a fellow singer are both openly  HIV positive and are strong believers in supporting people living with HIV.  

Through Southern Time Band, they want to spread a message of hope and compassion to everyone to hang in there and persevere from this infectious disease.

Southern Time Foundation 

Southern Time Productions created a foundation named Southern Time Foundation in February 2020 to multiply their efforts in spreading awareness for HIV. Their first goal is to help UNAIDS achieve its target of eradicating HIV by 2030, the 2030 agenda as we call it. 

Our fight against HIV is far from finished. 

Many people including T live in the 'first world' with all amenities available to them with a world-class healthcare system but others are suffering and dying with not even the basic medicines available to them. With Southern Time Foundation we would like to transform this fact for good.
